Pay with Touch ‘n Go eWallet on Taobao App

As part of ongoing efforts to drive further convenience and encourage cashless payments, TNG Digital Sdn Bhd (“TNG Digital”) announced that their users now have the option of using Touch ‘n Go eWallet on the Taobao App as a mode of payment for their shopping cart. This is enabled through Alipay+, the global cross-border digital payments and marketing solution operated by Ant Group.

Alan Ni, Chief Executive Officer of TNG Digital said, “We see this as an added convenience for our users who shop for their favourite items on the Taobao App. They can rest assured that all transactions are done within a secured environment, and we encourage users to choose Touch ‘n Go eWallet for their mode of payment during checkouts.”

In conjunction with the launch and the Taobao 6.18 Mid-Year Sale, there will be exciting promotional offers for users from 15 to 20 June 2023 when they pay for their Taobao purchases with Touch ‘n Go eWallet. The campaign will start at 8pm on 15 June and will be refreshed daily at the same time within the campaign period.

Campaign A

Users can get a RM15 discount with a minimum purchase of RM250 on the total net purchase in a single transaction, excluding shipping/courier charges.

Campaign B

Users can get a 1.5% service fee waiver (capped at RM3) on the total net purchase in a single transaction, excluding shipping/courier charges.

Campaign C

New Taobao users can get ¥25 with a minimum spend of ¥50. Existing Taobao users can get ¥35 worth of promo code with a minimum spend of ¥350.

For Campaigns A and B, the limited time promotional discount and fee waiver are immediately applied if the criteria are fulfilled when users pay with Touch ‘n Go eWallet. For Campaign C, users are required to input a promotional code during checkout. The promotion is on a first-come, first-serve basis. After the discount is fully claimed, users should stay tuned for the next campaign.

Using the Touch 'n Go eWallet on the Taobao App is seamless. Existing eWallet users would only need to select Touch ‘n Go eWallet as a payment method at checkout. They will then be redirected from the Taobao App to Touch ‘n Go eWallet to validate the purchase information before confirming the payment with their 6-digit PIN.
